SASKTIP is a registered charity which maintains a reward fund to assist in the apprehension and prosecution of those who violate resource and environmental laws. It was formed to help conservation officers convict poachers of all types.May and June are critical times for forest fires. Every year many fires are caused by people either being careless or in some cases actually starting a fire on purpose. Conservation officers investigate these fires with the hope of apprehending and prosecuting those responsible. If you see any unusual activity in our provincial forests it may be of interest to these investigations.
