*SOLVED* White-Tailed Deer Shot Near Weldon

On Sunday May 19, 2013 at 6:53 p.m. Conservation Officers received a TIP call of one rifle shot fired near the Weldon Ferry crossing. A silver Dodge truck was observed fleeing from the scene with numerous individuals inside the vehicle. A white-tailed deer was found shot and killed.
