Fish Left to Waste on Little Waterhen Lake

On May 31, 2014 Conservation Officers removed an unmarked net from the southeast side of Little Waterhen Lake. The net had been left in the lake for some time and all the fish were spoiled and rotten. There were 35 decomposed walleye, the majority were large upper size walleye exceeding 55cm in length (5-8lbs) and 15 Northern Pike (8-10lbs) plus numerous Suckers and Burbot.  Little Waterhen Lake has a reduced walleye limit of 3 walleye, of which only 1 may exceed 55 cm.
