Over Fifty Canada Geese Shot, Dumped to Waste in the Greenwater Provincial Park Area

On September 21, 2014 at about 7pm Greenwater Conservation Officers received a TIP call about a large amount of Geese that had been dumped about 7 miles northeast of Archerwill, SK. Conservation Officers attended the location and found 54 Canada Geese that had been shot, dumped to waste. None of the meat had been removed but left to rot. It is believed the geese may have been shot the previous day. On October 5, 2014 another call was received and an additional 86 geese and ducks were dumped 8 miles south of Greenwater Provincial Park. Do you know of anyone hunting geese these days responsible for the wildlife crime?
