On Sunday, October 29th, 2017, Fort Qu’Appelle Conservation Officers received a call to the Turn In Poachers Line regarding three white-tailed deer that had been shot and only a portion of the meat taken. The location was approximately 2.5 miles northwest of Liption, SK. Officers attended the scene and found one white-tailed buck, doe and a fawn. The hindquarters and back straps had been taken from the animals and the rest was left to waste. Officers collected evidence from the scene. It is believed this offence took place between the evening of October 28th and the early morning of October 29th.
