Assiniboia Conservation Officers received information about a mule deer that was believed to have been shot on the evening of Saturday, October 13th, or morning of Sunday, October 14th, 2018, in the Scout Lake community pasture. Officers located the kill site and found an untagged mule deer doe head and hide near a gut pile in the pasture. A wad from a muzzleloader was found at the kill site and officers collected other evidence as well. The community pasture is closed to hunting until November 1, 2018, due to cattle grazing in the pasture. Did you see any suspicious vehicles or individuals in the area?  Did you hear any shots or hear someone talking about their hunt in that evening or morning?
