Mule Deer Buck Shot and Only the Head Taken Near Coronach

On November 20, 2018, Assiniboia Conservation Officers received information regarding a mule deer that had been shot and left with only the head removed. The buck was shot sometime during the evening of November 19th or morning of November 20th. Only the head was taken, leaving the rest to waste approximately 15 km West of Coronach (SW9-2-28-W2). Officers were able to collect some evidence at the scene. There was no open season for either sex mule deer at the time, as the season had ended November 14, 2018.
