On Friday, September 26, 2014 Conservation Officers were alerted to a headless deer carcass near Eston, SK. The large mule deer buck had been shot with a rifle during the archery only season. The animal had been field dressed and the head and antlers removed. All the meat remained on the carcass and deliberately allowed to rot along the side of the road.
