On December 29, 2014 Rowan’s Ravine Conservation Officers received information regarding two moose that had been illegally shot and killed, and left to waste approximately 25km southwest of Raymore, SK. Officers investigated the scene and found one moose with four quarters removed without being skinned prior. The remainder of the animal was left to waste. The second moose had it’s head removed with all of the meat left to waste. An early to mid 90’s Ford halfton extended cab, brown in colour was observed heading north on Highway 6 near Serath. A moose head was seen in the box of the truck. If you have any information regarding this case or others like it, Conservation Officers would appreciate your help.
