Thanks to your help, this case is solved!

On Saturday, December 12th at approximately 8:00am a group of hunters shot a herd of elk, killing two and wounding another. This occurred south east of Kipling along the #711 grid, four miles east of the #605 junction. A cow elk was field dressed and taken while a spike bull was left to waste. Officers also had to euthanize a calf that was left injured and were able to salvage the meat. An older blue pickup and an off-white (maybe tan) pickup were seen in the area at the time of the incident. Information points to a group from Regina or surrounding area (Indian Head, Balgonie, Ft. Qu’Appelle, or Lumsden). Officers collected evidence at the scene.
