On Thursday, December 10, 2015 at approximately 1115hrs Conservation Officers investigated a bull elk carcass that was lying in a field adjacent to a farm access road. The bull elk carcass was approximately 300 meters west of a farm access road at land location NE24-48-18-W2, approximately 3 1/2 miles north and 1 mile west of Gronlid, SK. The elk had a large set of 6×6 point antlers and had been shot with a large caliber centrefire rifle and believed sometime during the early morning.
