On July 26th, 2017, Pierceland Conservation Officers responded to a call regarding two elk that were shot on private land. The elk were shot in a standing canola crop on land location SE 18-61-22-W3, approximately 10 miles south and 4 miles west of Peerless, Saskatchewan. Conservation Officers collected evidence at the scene and believe the offence took place between 11pm on July 25th and 5am on July 26th.
