Cow and Calf Moose Shot and Left Near Peesane

On September 29th, 2017, Greenwater Conservation Officers received information regarding a cow and calf moose shot and left approximately 11km north of Peesane, SK. The cow and calf were shot sometime between the evening of September 27th and morning of September 29th. The moose were located on the edge of an alfalfa field on the east side of the grid road, 3.2km north of the burnt out creek. There was no hunting season open for moose when this occurred. Some evidence was collected at the scene. Did you see any suspicious vehicles, activity or people in the area?
