Between November 15th and 25th, 2017, Loon Lake and Meadow Lake Conservation Officers have received several calls of at least 4 White-tailed bucks that have been shot and left to waste, approximately 20km west of Meadow Lake. Three of the deer were shot in separate locations, in an area locally known as “Oliver Swamp”, while another deer was shot just north of the Makwa Community Pasture. Some evidence was collected at each scene.
