On April 13th, 2018, Estevan Conservation Officers received a call about some moose remains found at SW 15-6-9 W2, which is 11km west of Benson, SK. At the scene, officers located the head, gut pile, and legs of a cow moose on the edge of some bush. The cow moose also appeared to have been pregnant, as a fully developed fetus had been left with the remains. Officers believe that the moose had been shot within the last 3 days. The public’s help is needed to solve this case.
