Pregnant White-tailed Doe Shot and Killed Near Meadow Lake, Two Fetuses Also Dead

On April 22, 2018, Meadow Lake Conservation Officers were on patrol and found a grisly site. Approximately 25 kilometers east of Meadow Lake, in the St. Cyr hills, and 500 meters north of the Meadow Lake Gun Club, Conservation Officers discovered a gut pile and partial remains of a White-tailed deer doe and two male fawn fetuses. The pregnant doe had been shot and killed, causing the fetuses die, too. There were ATV tracks present and the source of those tracks is believed to be involved in the offence. Some evidence was collected at the scene. Did you see any suspicious activity, vehicles/ATV’s, or hear a gunshot(s) in the area during the days prior to Sunday, April 22, 2018?
