On August 5th, 2018, Humboldt Conservation Officers received information regarding a dead White-tailed doe, which had been found in a field, 5 miles South and 2 miles West of Englefeld, SK. Officers investigated the scene and determined that the doe was shot repeatedly with a .22 calibre rifle and was transported to the location and left to waste on August 3rd or 4th. The multiple shots would’ve caused the deer to suffer before dying.
