Between August 16th and August 17th, 2018, two White-tailed deer bucks were shot, partially field dressed and dumped on a trail at kilometer 120 on Highway 155, North of Beauval. Beauval Conservation Officers believe the deer may have been shot between Green Lake and Ile-a-la-Crosse. There was no White-tailed deer season on at the time and some meat was also left to waste. Tire tracks near the dump site appear to be Goodyear Duratracs. Officers collected some evidence at the scene, but the public’s help is needed to solve this case.
