On Nov 29, 2019 Moose Jaw Conservation Officers received a TIP call regarding a Mule deer buck that was shot and left on the wildlife lands approximately 8 miles North of Marquis. Officers found a large Mule deer buck approximately 70 yards West of the Marquis grid. The Mule deer had a bullet hole through the neck and appeared to have been at shot from the road, on Nov 27th or Nov 28th. The season was not open for antlered mule deer and it is illegal to leave edible meat to waste.
