Regina Conservation Officers are requesting the public’s assistance in providing information to help solve the case of a large bodied White-tailed deer buck that was shot and had only its head removed. The deer was located approximately 4.5 miles South of the community of Davin, along the backside of a larger bluff in the middle of a field. Evidence suggests that at some point this deer was dragged a considerable distance prior to it being discarded. Only the head was removed from the deer and the rest was left to waste. Officers are looking to talk to individuals who were in this area between Nov 28 – 30, 2019 or to anyone who may have any information regarding this incident. Evidence was collected and officers continue to investigate.
