Saskatchewan Fish and Wildlife Development Fund lands are purchased from a percentage of fees that are collected from Saskatchewan hunting and trapping licenses. These lands are managed to create the best possible wildlife habitat for the greatest number of species. Fish and Wildlife Development Lands are not reserves or sanctuaries, and can be used by anyone for hiking, bird-watching, and hunting. These designated areas allow foot access only. Vehicles are only permitted for retrieval of legally harvested big game animals. Despite this requirement, Conservation Officers discover vehicles, ATVs, and snowmobiles that illegally access these lands.

If you have any information regarding the illegal use or access of Fish and Wildlife Development Fund lands, call the Toll-Free Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment Turn In Poachers & Polluters Line 1-800-667-7561 or #5555 from a Sasktel cellphone (phone calls only, no text messages). You can also report online at saskatchewan.ca/tipp. Remember, you can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward if your information leads to a conviction.
