On the 11th of October, 2021 Moose Mountain Conservation Officers received a TIPP call in regards to unlawful hunting on posted land without permission, East of grid road 605, North of Kisbey, SK. Witnesses had observed four subjects in a white Ford truck shoot a cow elk on posted land, then used a tow strap to drag the animal into Moose Mountain Provincial Park to field dress and load the animal. Officers attended the location and evidence was collected at the scene. Conservation Officers are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying those responsible.
