On June 16th, 2026, Regina conservation officers were informed of approximately 24 wasted fish fillets, suspected to be walleye, in the filleting shack at Last Mountain Lake Regional Park. Officers have been unable to determine who may have caught and filleted these fish. Angled fish in Saskatchewan are not allowed to be wasted if they are fit for human consumption. Officers are looking to speak with anyone who may have information about these fillets.

A cash reward of up to $2000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the individuals responsible.
