On September 15th, 2016 Saskatoon Conservation Officers received information from a hunter who found a large number of migratory birds that had been shot, dumped and left to waste in a field approximately 3km northeast of Blaine Lake, Saskatchewan. Conservation Officers investigated the scene and located 136 ducks, 43 Canada geese and 61 Snow geese from which no meat had been taken and found only 3 Snow geese carcasses which had the breast meat removed. The public’s help is needed to solve this crime.
