On December 13th, 2017, Loon Lake Conservation Officers received a call regarding a bull Elk that had been shot and left to waste in an area south of St. Walburg, SK. The Elk was located on land location SE 13-52-22 W of 3rd, which is 3 miles south and 2 miles west of the community of Spruce Lake. The Elk was shot the afternoon of Tuesday, December 12th, 2017. Officers collected some evidence at the scene.
