On Sunday, December 3, 2017, the Greenwater District Conservation Officers received a TIP call regarding a White-tailed buck in the ditch approximately 5 miles northwest of Bjorkdale, SK, along highway 23, with the head cut off. Officers attended the area and found that the deer had been shot on the edge of the highway and dragged to the ditch, where only the head was removed. Some evidence was collected at the scene.
