On Tuesday, May 22, 2018, Outlook Conservation Officers were contacted by a member of the public regarding a possible case of deliberate wildlife poisoning. The caller had located a Bald Eagle and three dead coyotes in the same quarter section of land approximately 12 miles south of Lucky Lake, Saskatchewan. Conservation Officers investigated the scene and collected samples from the Bald Eagle and coyotes which were sent to a laboratory for analysis. It was determined that all the animals had been deliberately poisoned with pesticide.
