In Saskatchewan, it is illegal to advertise and sell wild meat, fish, or items that contain wildlife parts without a permit. As a result, you may be in violation of the Wildlife Act for trafficking in wildlife and subject to prosecution, should the ad remain posted. If you plan to advertise and sell wildlife parts, you are encouraged to discuss your activities with a Conservation Officer to find out what permits or licenses you will need to conduct your business legally. Licenses and permits can be obtained from any Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment office.

If you are aware of any environmental, forestry, fishery, or wildlife violations, call the toll-free Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment Turn In Poachers Line 1-800-667-7561 or #5555 from a Sasktel cellphone (phone calls only, no text messages). You can also report online at saskatchewan.ca/tip. Remember, you can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward if your information leads to a conviction.
