On March 11th, 2019 Assiniboia Conservation Officers received information regarding two dead mule deer which were found on the northern edge of Rockglen, Saskatchewan. Conservation Officers investigated the scene and located the two dead animals. Testing of evidence determined that the doe mule deer was shot with a small calibre rifle, and it’s fawn perished from starvation. Officers believe that the doe was shot in or near the community of Rockglen. Discharging firearms in or within community limits is extremely dangerous and could result in charges.
