On July 8, 2019 Humboldt Conservation Officers received information that a landowner had located a mature White-tailed buck that had been shot and left in a field located approximately 2 miles Southeast of St. Brieux. There was no season open at the time and no effort was made to recover any of the meat from the deer. The deer is believed to have been shot sometime during the weekend of July 6-7, 2019. Officers located evidence at the scene but the public’s help is needed to solve this case.
