Mule Deer Buck Shot and Left Near Estevan

On November 27th, 2019, Estevan Conservation Officers investigated a mule deer buck that had been shot and left in a field land location NE 28-02-07 W2, approximately 9 kilometers East of Estevan. A set of vehicle tracks were found going from the road, up to the deer, then back to the road. The investigating officer was able to determine that the deer had been shot at least six times. The deer was likely killed the evening of November 26th or the morning of November 27th.
