On November 23, 2019, Assiniboia Conservation Officers received a tip call regarding numerous mule deer heads and hides being dumped, approximately five kilometers East of Dunkirk. Officers attended the scene and located four mule deer doe heads and four hides in the ditch. Officers estimate that the deer parts had been dumped during the morning of November 23. It is considered littering to discard animal parts without permission.
