On November 21st, 2019 Moose Mountain Conservation Officers received information regarding a White-tailed deer buck, which had been shot and left to waste approximately 1.5 miles Southeast of Redvers, SK. Officers investigated the scene were able to collect some evidence. Officers did determine that the buck was shot only once. Conservation Officers are continuing to investigate numerous cases involving large bucks which have been shot and left to waste in the field. However, the public’s help is needed to assist in solving these cases.
