On April 28th, 2020 Estevan Conservation Officers received information regarding a cow moose which had been illegally shot and left to waste approximately 12km Northeast of Lampman, SK, along Highway #605 between Lampman and Kisbey, SK. Officers investigated the scene and located a pregnant cow moose which they determined was shot and wounded on or before Saturday, April 25th and had succumbed to its injuries on Sunday, April 26th. There was no moose season open at the time. Officers were able to collect some evidence at the scene, but need the public’s help to solve this crime.
