On October 12th, 2020 Regina Conservation Officers received information regarding a calf moose and a White-tailed deer fawn which had been found dead in a ditch along Highway #10 approximately 4km Northeast of Balgonie, SK. Conservation Officers investigated the scene and determined that both animals were shot in another location and then dumped in the ditch sometime between the evening of October 10th and morning of October 12th. The animals were left to waste and were not tagged.
