White-tailed Deer Shot and Left to Waste Near Peerless

On November 7th, 2020, Pierceland Conservation Officers responded to a local TIP call regarding a White-tailed deer that was shot and left on private land with only the head removed, while the rest was left to waste. The deer was located approximately five miles West and one mile South of the town of Peerless, SK on land location NW 2-62-23 W3rd. Conservation Officers collected evidence at the scene and believe the offence took place between the evening of November 6th and the morning of November 7th. This is a blatant act of poaching and total disregard for Saskatchewan’s hunting laws and wildlife.
