On November 16th, 2020, Estevan Conservation Officers investigated a White-tailed deer that had been shot and left to waste. The deer was found in a hay field approximately 12km Northeast of Torquay, SK, with vehicle tracks going from the road allowance to the deer and back. Officers believe the deer had likely been shot November 14th – 15th, during either the last day of either sex mule deer rifle season or opening day of White-tailed deer rifle season.
