On November 20th, 2020, Estevan Conservation Officers investigated a White-tailed deer buck that had been shot and left to waste approximately 4km Northeast of Gainsborough, SK and less than 1km from the Manitoba border. The deer was located behind a bluff of trees less than 100m from the grid road. Officers believe the deer had likely been shot during the beginning few days of White-tailed deer rifle season, between the dates of November 15th to 18th.
