On July 11th, 2021, Loon Lake Conservation Officers received information of two jet skiers on Perch Lake, North of Paradise Hill, SK, that reportedly drove extremely close to the shore to scare approximately 25 geese into the water. They then proceeded to drive into the flock of geese, killing at least two. The jet skis are described as being older models, one being navy blue and white in colour, with a heavier set male operating it and a child onboard. The other jet ski is reported as being yellow and white in colour, with a slender build male operating it, also with a child onboard. The incident occurred at around 2pm on July 11th. It is unlawful under the Wildlife Regulations to use a vehicle or power boat to chase, disturb, injure or kill wildlife.
