On June 21st, 2021, Melfort Conservation Officers received a call regarding a large pile of shingles and associated materials dumped off of the 778 grid, within the RM of Kinistino. Officers responded to the location 10 miles North of Melfort and 3.5 miles West of Highway 6, where the items were discarded in the South ditch. The shingles are believed to have been dumped between 9:00pm on Saturday, June 19th and 9:00am on Sunday, June 20th. A tape measure with the initials “DC” was located in the pile. Do you know anyone who recently had their shingles replaced in the area?
