On February 16th, 2022 Loon Lake Conservation Officers received information regarding a White-tailed deer which had been shot and left to waste on private land, approximately 200m South of the entrance to Brightsand Regional Park in the RM of Mervin. Officers investigated the scene and located a White-tailed buck, as well as the remains of a second animal. Officers believe that this occurred between 4pm Tuesday, February 15th and 8am Wednesday, February 16th. Some evidence was collected, however officers are requesting the public’s help to solve this case.
