On November 24th, 2022, Creighton Conservation Officers received information that a deceased wolf was found near Boot Lake, approximately 11km south of Creighton, SK. Upon inspection of the wolf, it is believed that someone shot the wolf at an unknown location and took only the head and then dumped the carcass where it was eventually found.
