On November 24, 2022, Hudson Bay Conservation Officers received a call regarding a cow moose that was shot and left to waste approximately 10km’s east of Little Swan subdivision within the Porcupine Provincial Forest. Officers attended the scene and located the cow moose along a well-used ATV/snowmobile trail. Officers collected evidence from the scene and determined that the moose was likely shot sometime between November 20th and November 22nd. The suspects involved are believed to have been on snowmobiles.
