Elk unlawfully shot on private land near Goodsoil, SK

On September 9, 2024, Pierceland Conservation Officers received a Turn in Poachers call regarding an elk that was unlawfully harvested on private land on Coulee Road near Goodsoil, SK. Officers attended the scene and collected evidence. Officers believe that the incident took place in the early morning hours of that same day, and that a newer model white pickup truck (photo attached) may be relevant to the investigation.
