On November 30, 2025, Saskatoon Conservation Officers received information from the public reporting a moose that was found dead northeast of Prud’homme, SK. Officers attended the scene and determined through investigation that the bull moose was shot in a field, then dragged on the road for approximately 5 kilometers to a separate field and was left. Officers believe the moose was shot between the hours of 1:30pm and 3:30pm that day. Officers collected evidence at the scenes.

A cash reward of up to $2000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest or conviction of the individual(s) responsible. Anyone with information about this violation should contact the provincial toll-free Turn In Poachers and Polluters (TIPP) line.
