On Monday, November 4, 2024, Hudson Bay Conservation Officers received a call reporting that a moose had been unlawfully hunted on private land without permission, one mile east of Carragana, SK, at NW-34-41-08-W2M. The suspect vehicle drove into the summer fallow field, where the moose was loaded. The moose was believed to have been shot between November 1 and November 4. Officers were able to collect some evidence from the scene but require the public’s help to identify the individuals responsible.

A cash reward of up to $2000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of conviction of the individual(s) involved. Anyone with information about this violation should contact the Turn In Poachers and Polluters (TIPP) line. Calls are not traced or recorded in any way and callers may choose to remain anonymous.
