On January 28, 2024, Christopher Lake Conservation Officers received a report that 7 whole northern pike had been left to waste approximately 300m from the shore near Timber Bay, SK on Montreal Lake, SK. The fish are believed to have been left on the ice between Saturday, January 27th and the morning of Sunday, January 8th.
