On January 26, 2024, Spiritwood Conservation Officers received information that a deer and moose had been shot and left on private land near the Ranger Grid, west of Spiritwood. Officers investigated and found a whole white-tailed deer left to waste and a moose that had significant amounts of meat left to waste. It is believed that the moose was killed at the location and the deer was dumped there during the previous night. Officers located evidence on scene but require your assistance to bring the violators to justice.
