Estevan Conservation Officers received a complaint on June 11, 2024, of three white-tailed deer and one mallard duck that were shot and left to waste within two miles of the community of Bellegarde, SK. The first two deer were killed in the same field at NE-02-07-31-W1, while the third deer was found at SE-03-07-31-W1. The duck was located just north of the deer at SW-11-07-31-W1. Officers believe that these animals were killed between the evening of June 9 and late in the night of June 10, 2024. There was no attempt to retrieve these animals and no hunting season on at this time.
