Unlawfully harvested moose found on private land near Alvena, SK

On August 27, 2024, at 7:46PM, Saskatoon Conservation Officers received a Turn in Poachers call reporting an unlawfully harvested moose on private land southeast of Alvena, SK at NE 15-40-28 W2. Officers attended the area and collected some evidence. It is believed that the moose was killed during the late evening of August 26th or early the morning of the 27th.
